From time to time, we take a look at our terms of service and privacy policies to make sure they're in line with our product and industry standards.
In this update we're clarifying some language further clarifying your ownership of your data and restricting our ability to use your data only to provide the services you've subscribed to. This language better aligns with our existing policies and practices and doesn't change the way our product works.
Additionally, we're providing more clarity around our responsibilities if a failure in the Chain.io system causes issues with your data.
We've made an adjustment to our Terms of Service to make those rights more clear and to align them better with the way our product actually works.
What do I need to do?
You don't need to do anything. Your data remains as safe as it's always been, and nothing is changing in our application or how we use your data. If you have any questions, please reach out to your account manager or email@example.com and we'll get right back to you.
